Changes to Blog as of 28/04/2012

The past few months have all been about change. I admit that I've found keeping up with my blog a bit of a struggle. Our little boy is fast approaching two years of age, is becoming increasingly active and already starting to cut out his afternoon nap (sob). Neil lost his job. However, thankfully, he starts a new one on Monday. The biggest change is that I am twelve weeks pregnant! I feel a bit anxious telling so many people so early in my pregnancy, but my blog is almost like my diary. It is something for me and my children to look back on in years to come. My pregnancy is of course a big part of my life, so I want it to be included.

Sometimes it has been difficult to find the impetus to bake. The fatigue and nausea do not make it easy! Due to these factors I will be cutting back a little. I shall still aim to bake on a Wednesday but will bake just the once at the weekend. On a good week I will also make a variation! I should mention that I will not write a blog post for a variation. I will simply add the picture and a brief description to the end of the original recipe post. I hope that makes sense!! Also, I shall not be able to taste test a couple of the recipes, such as unbaked cheesecakes. Neil will be my chief taster on those occasions and will also take them into work for everyone to give their verdict!

I apologise to those on Facebook whose pages I haven't visited as much or for perhaps taking a little longer to reply to your lovely comments.

This means that you will be stuck with me for a few extra months! I estimate I will now finish in August instead of the end of June as I had originally planned.

Thank you so much for your continued support; I find it quite overwhelming and it means so much! I am so pleased finally to be able to share my happy news with you. I'm so excited about becoming a mummy all over again. I feel very blessed.

I look forward to your blog every week, nobody could question your commitment to an amazing project, and to have soldiered on through the draining early weeks of pregnancy is a credit to you. Can't wait to follow your progress, both through the Bible and your pregnancy, and to be honest, knowing your blog will last a couple of months longer is actually good news for me!! Good luck to Neil for Monday, and to you all in your expanding family. Love and best wishes x x x x

  14. Congratulations lovie!! Please look after yourself and your baby and your blog will look after itself - the two of you are what is important, you do not need to feel pressurised or obliged to bake. And then share your experiences for us all to read. You are a beyond fabulous mother to Issac, and I am sure you will be just as wonderful when the new baby arrives. Congratulations to you and Neil; wish you both all the best xx
